CAAID Expands Its International Presence to Strengthen African Partnerships

octobre 28, 2025

At the official invitation of the organizers of the Third Summit on Financing Enterprises for Development in Africa, held in Luanda, Angola, from 28 to 31 October 2025, Mr. Amine Boutalbi, President of the Arab African Center for Investment and Development (CAAID), took part in this important event, accompanied by a delegation of Algerian public and private institutions. The participation aimed to explore opportunities for cooperation, discuss financing and insurance mechanisms, and establish a new roadmap for Algerian companies to build sustainable African partnerships.

This participation reflects the Center’s vision to enhance Algeria’s economic role across the African continent, particularly as Algeria possesses significant capacities and expertise in construction, infrastructure development, and energy—sectors that can contribute to technology transfer, service export, and the strengthening of African cooperation networks.

The summit witnessed high-level participation, including the President of the Republic of Angola (current Chairperson of the African Union), the President of Togo, and the President of Burundi, as well as the Secretary-General of the African Union and the CEO of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), which oversees the implementation of Agenda 2063. Numerous ministers, representatives of financial institutions, and executives from international companies specializing in construction and infrastructure—such as bridges, roads, ports, railways, and airports—were also in attendance.

Algeria was prominently represented by an official delegation led by Mr. Azouz Nasri, President of the Council of the Nation, representing His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, along with Mrs. Bekhta Salma Mansouri, Secretary of State in charge of Africa, and several high-ranking officials and business leaders. Algeria’s address, delivered by the President of the Council of the Nation as the third speech in the opening session, drew considerable attention for its clear vision in supporting development and economic integration across the continent.

The participation of the Arab African Center for Investment and Development underscores its pioneering role in promoting African economic relations and advancing South–South cooperation. The Center continues to link Algerian enterprises with African and international counterparts, opening new horizons for investment and trade exchange.

It is worth noting that CAAID also recently took part in the Turkey-Africa Business and Economic Forum (TABEF) and the Afreximbank Finance Industry Summit and Handover Ceremony, reaffirming its active and growing presence in continental and international forums, and its continuous commitment to building economic bridges between Africa and the world.
